For example it creates an addiction to people making them end up wasting a lot of time and resources on social networks. Many people end up losing a lot of valuable time surfing the net and accomplishing nothing. People are in dire need to learn how to make more valuable use of the internet. Having a clear focus of achieving a goal

The major problem with most of us is that we do not have set goals of what we want to do when we switch on the computer. This way we tend to waste a lot of time on the computer doing nothing useful. Since we have the knowledge that we are doing nothing useful we end up not relaxing when surfing the web. Avoid wastage of the 15 minutes breaks

Most people end up surfing the web when they are given a short minute break. And since they do not see that they cannot finish anything useful in these 15 minutes they tend to go to social networks. Soon this becomes a habit and the person will most probably end up getting addicted. The people should try and find another past time other than going to the computer any time they get a fifteen minute break.

Switch off internet access

We should try and switch off the internet and find other better things to do during the day. We should find an alternative source of entertainment. Examples of this would include things like reading novels, watching movies and so much more. This will help us relax after a long day of work and avoid internet access.

Write emails only when it's very necessary

The internet addicts should try and use other forms of communication other than drawing up emails. One can choose to call the person, send a short message via your phone and if you must use a computer then one should try and use video conferencing. This will help the addict not to keep going to the internet to check their mail for any replies. This will help them in a great way avoid going to their computers. This will help relax their internet access.
